[The door to Blitzø's cabin looks like a typical shitty apartment door. Inside is pretty much exactly a shitty apartment. The door marked "Loona's room" does not open when tried and it appears that Blitzø himself sleeps on the couch. The walls are covered with images and drawings of horses, however every picture of Blitzø has his face scribbled over.]

Wow, kinda jumpy aren't you?

[He hopes that wasn't one of Florian's mugs, otherwise the other man will likely be annoyed.]

What, didn't hear me come in last night? [He grins up at Trevor, watching his face to see if there's any panic about where Blitzø slept the night prior...]

[He grunts, leaning over the sink to clean up the mess]

Where the fuck were you-..

[He trails off, gazing at Florian's door]

Oh my god.

[Blitzø grins wickedly at him and wiggles his eyebrows.]

I mean, Florian isn't the kind to scream that but I'll see if he takes requests.

[muttering, to himself]

I'm going to kill him.

[He goes to Florian's door, intent on giving the other warden a piece of his mind]

[ Florian is in his room, writing something in his notebook and working on a new magical item. The door will open without a problem and Florian will look up. ]

Hmm?

[Blitzø belatedly recalls Trevor might have some Opinions about him and Florian fucking and heaves a sigh, leaving the pancake ingredients he'd been digging out and trails after the man in case shit hits the fan. He'll want a front row seat after all.]

[Trevor scoops Blitzø up protectively under his arm, directing his ire at Florian]

[ Florian raises an eyebrow. ]

I've been doing so since before I was a warden and thought it would be particularly stupid to stop for that reason. He and Johann hit it off and he came to our bed.

[ His head tilts to one side. ]

And it's clearly not had much of an impact on your work, given that you just discovered this fact now, apparently.

[Scooped up unexpectedly, Blitzø just hangs there for a moment and blinks at the floor until it registers that, yep, that's what's happening and he turns to jab a finger in Trevor's direction.]

What he said! We were fucking waaaaay before then! And anyway, I started it by stalking them, so what about that, asshole??

This isn't about my work, for fuck's sake.

[He holds Blitzø up to his eyeline, telling him seriously;]

You don't owe anyone jack shit, you got it? If this is genuine affection, great, I'm fine with it.

If you think this is "if I blow someone they'll give me affection or preferential treatment, I'm amazing in bed and shit at all else so I have to prove my worth", I want to know.

Your 'work' is his well being.

And I think you will find I more often have to bully him into accepting basic care for his wounds than any such 'arrangement'. Strange that I'm so used to that.

[ Trevor gets a flat look. ]

I fucked my way through school and the social spheres of Elendhaven for my own safety, Trevor. If you think I'd do that to someone else, I'm insulted.

[Oh fuck how did this end up with him being the focus? He immediately hates it and looks between them, somehow feeling that this is going to end up with him getting ganged up on even more than when Johann was here instead.]

I don't... think that. [Fuck that sounded about as convincing as Verosika playing at being a virgin.]

And who said those are the only options anyway! I don't give a fuck about anyone, and I don't need any of this- [He drops to a lower pitch in a mockery of Trevor.] -genuine affection crap anyway! So who even gives a fuck if I end up railing half the ship?

[Softer, to Florian]

Can I worry about you?

[ Despite the irritated tone and the flat look, the apology heals all wounds. He smiles a moment later, and it's a genuine smile. His words are directed at Trevor, but it's just as obvious that he's grinning a little at Blitzø because if he can't be a little shit to one, he'll be a little shit to the other. ]

He needs more people worried about him. I'll hardly hold a grudge that you asked a proper question about it.

[ He glances between Trevor and Blitzø before addressing both. ]

Perhaps we can have dinner together one night, now that all is clear. Well, as long as Trevor cooks it.

No one needs to worry about me!! [Are they even listening at this point?? He glares at Trevor and then back at Florian.]

[He sets Blitzø down at last]

Go, run back to your sex lair. I'll be making us breakfast.

[ Florian looks to Blitzø ]

No one needs to, obviously. But I can appreciate those who do.

We didn't even fuck last night! [He yells after Trevor, because if his warden is gonna get all protective and shit, he's going to make sure he knows what happened and watch him squirm.]

What's there to worry about? I'm so fine, I'm like two seconds away from graduating.

[he shouts back from the kitchen]

[ Florian looks to Blitzø and stands up from his desk, beckoning him over as he heads for the bed.]

[Uh oh. He's heard those words before and there's a tiny wince as he braces for something. Please don't let it be the "what are we?" one...]

Fine, but if it's about Trevor joining then I don't think he'll go for it.

[ His nose scrunches.]

[ He looks to Blitzø. ]

Why is it that when I expressed the idea that I wasn't about to treat you poorly or that I happen to consider your well being important to me, you thought I was calling you... I don't know. Weak? Incompetent? Take your pick.

[ He peers a little more intently.]

Or I suppose, put more specifically: what about me gave you the idea that I wouldn't outright say something like that if that's what I thought?

What? I don't think you mean that! [At least it's not the conversation he thought was coming, although he feels like this one could be just as bad.]

I just don't fucking need all this worrying about me shit. I'm perfectly fine and I don't need anyone to be making fucking moony eyes like there's something wrong or they're worried, like it's not normal to repress every feeling and just drink all the time instead of admitting that you're scared and you care about people and don't know how to deal with it! That's just how life is!!

And is there some reason you object to the idea that I'd like things to be better than 'normal' for you? Such as... having the ability to share those fears? Admit that ignorance and know that the person you're talking to won't make fun of you or be angry that you somehow don't 'know' these things when no one's taught them to you?

[ He's going to settle into the bed now. You can join or not. ]

You don't need it, no. Obviously you know how to survive. But one generally wants more than needs met for those one cares for, no?

Because it's not going to be better, ok? It's just not how anything works out. Hell is a shitty place where everyone is shitty to each other all the fucking time, so why try to pretend like it's not going to be like that?

[He's too agitated now to sit down and paces around the room instead, his tail occasionally lashing behind him.]

None of it's going to change and I'm not going to change, so that's why I keep saying you shouldn't fucking be here.
